Tue May 06 10:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Madhya Pradesh Announces Improved Class 10 and 12 Board Exam Results
**Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh –** Madhya Pradesh recorded improved pass percentages in its Class 10 and 12 board examinations, results for which were announced on Tuesday. A total of 76.22% of Class 10 students and 74.48% of Class 12 students passed their respective exams. This marks an increase compared to last year’s results, a fact celebrated by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Pragya Jaiswal achieved a perfect score, topping the Class 10 exams, while Priyal Dwivedi secured the highest marks in Class 12 (science-mathematics stream) with 492 out of 500. Remarkably, girls dominated the merit lists, comprising 144 out of 212 students in Class 10 and 89 out of 159 in Class 12. Narsinghpur district boasted the highest Class 10 pass percentage at 92.73%.
Chief Minister Yadav attributed the improved performance to innovative steps taken by the Education Department and congratulated both the department and its minister. He also offered words of encouragement to students who did not pass, assuring them of a second examination opportunity within six months under the New Education Policy. He highlighted the policy’s implementation of twice-yearly exams, a significant change for the state’s education system.
