**Bengaluru, May 6, 2025** – Several Karnataka students have achieved outstanding academic success in recent Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) examinations. Girish B.S., a Pharma-D graduate from PES College of Pharmacy, topped his class, receiving six gold medals. Inspired by his mother’s struggles with hypertension and diabetes, Dr. Girish aims to improve patient diagnosis and treatment. He currently works at Tata Memorial Hospital, where he finds his pharmacy skills highly valued by doctors.
Other top performers include Gannyashree, who earned four gold medals in AYUSH from SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science; Prakruthi C. Pateel, who received three gold medals in Bachelor of Dental Sciences from Sharavathi Dental College; and Aleena Jose, who earned three gold medals in B.Sc. Nursing from Nightingale College of Nursing. Each student cited personal inspiration and dedication as key factors in their success. Dr. Gannyashree highlighted the practical application of her studies, while Dr. Pateel credited her dentist parents for influencing her career path.
