**Yadgir, Karnataka, May 5, 2025** – Yadgir district has climbed two spots in the Karnataka SSLC (class 10) exam rankings, moving from 35th to 33rd place, according to results released on May 2nd. This improvement follows efforts by the Education Department to boost student performance.
Six high schools, including a government residential school, achieved 100% pass rates. Conversely, two private unaided schools reported zero pass rates.
C.S. Mudhol, Deputy Director of Public Instructions, attributed the improvement to interventions such as communicating student progress to parents, providing guidance to schools, and conducting special evening classes.
