BALTIMORE, MD – The Kansas City Royals defeated the Baltimore Orioles 11-6 in a slugfest Sunday, highlighted by a combined 11 home runs. Maikel Garcia led the Royals’ offensive explosion with two home runs, while Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino added crucial seventh-inning blasts to break the tie. Jonathan India, Luke Maile (in his Royals debut), and Michael Massey also contributed home runs for Kansas City, who have now won 11 of their last 13 games. Garcia and Pasquantino each had three hits in the game.

The Orioles’ Jackson Holliday also had a memorable game, hitting two home runs for his first career multi-homer game. Cedric Mullins and Ryan O’Hearn also went deep for Baltimore.
