**Mumbai, India** – Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant has been fined INR 24 lakhs for his team’s slow over-rate during their IPL 2025 match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. This was the team’s second over-rate offence of the season, triggering the penalty under Article 2.22 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. The remaining players in the starting XI, including the Impact Player, will each be fined either INR 6 lakhs or 25% of their match fee, whichever is lower.
