Sun May 04 19:20:00 UTC 2025: ## DeChambeau Wins LIV Golf Korea, Secures Third LIV Title

**Seoul, South Korea** – Bryson DeChambeau clinched a dramatic victory at the LIV Golf Korea event, securing both the individual and team titles. DeChambeau shot a final round 66, culminating in a crucial 48-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole, to finish at 19-under 197. This marks his third LIV Golf win, and his first of the season.

The victory was hard-fought, with DeChambeau facing a strong challenge from his Crushers GC teammate, Charles Howell III, who fired a stunning 9-under 63. Howell’s impressive performance narrowed the gap to a single stroke at the turn, and the two remained neck and neck until the final holes. Despite Howell’s birdie streak on holes 11-15, a bogey on 16 ultimately proved decisive. DeChambeau’s clutch putt on 17, followed by another birdie on 18, sealed the win and a $4 million prize.

“Charles and I had a great battle,” DeChambeau said. “It was super-intense, but I’m glad I was able to get it done.” Howell, who finished second, acknowledged the intensity of the competition, stating, “Any time you shoot 9-under par in the last group and you still don’t win, it’s a tough day.”

DeChambeau’s win also secured the team title for the Crushers GC, who finished nine strokes ahead of Smash GC. Paul Casey’s 67 and Anirban Lahiri’s recovery round contributed to the team’s success.

The individual podium saw Talor Gooch in third place, followed by a tie for fourth between Thomas Pieters and Patrick Reed.

This win marks a significant turnaround for DeChambeau, who had previously held leads in previous LIV Golf events but failed to convert them into victories. He will now head to the PGA Championship, looking to build on his momentum.
