Sun May 04 20:30:00 UTC 2025: **Scheffler Cruises to Dominant Lead at CJ Cup Byron Nelson**

DALLAS, TX – Scottie Scheffler is poised for victory at the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson after a commanding performance through three rounds. Scheffler holds an eight-shot lead heading into Sunday’s final round at TPC Craig Ranch, building on impressive scores of 61, 63, and 66 over the previous days. His exceptional approach game, solid driving, and strong putting have propelled him to this significant advantage, the largest 54-hole lead of his PGA Tour career.

While Sam Stevens briefly challenged Scheffler on Saturday, narrowing the gap to five shots, Scheffler’s three birdies on the final five holes solidified his lead. The world No. 1 will tee off at 12:55 p.m. local time with Erik Van Rooyen. A win would mark Scheffler’s 14th PGA Tour victory and his 10th in the last three years.

Fellow Texan Jordan Spieth continues his consistent play, currently tied for 23rd, 13 shots behind Scheffler. He will tee off at 11 a.m. Central time with Si Woo Kim.

The final round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson will be televised on the Golf Channel from 1-3 p.m. ET and on CBS from 3-6 p.m. ET. ESPN+ will offer live streaming coverage starting at 6:45 a.m. ET.
