**NEW YORK** – Sunday’s series finale between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium has been delayed due to inclement weather. The game, originally scheduled for 1:35 p.m., will now begin at 2:05 p.m.
Ground crews covered the field with the tarp around 12:30 p.m. in anticipation of the rain. Despite efforts to prepare the field for play beginning around 1:20 p.m., periods of rain continued to affect the schedule. Tampa Bay’s Taj Bradley and the Yankees’ Will Warren remain the scheduled starting pitchers.
