Sun May 04 02:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Orioles Adjust Lineup, Urías Out with Hamstring Issue

**BALTIMORE, MD** – The Baltimore Orioles announced their starting lineup for today’s game against the Kansas City Royals, revealing a few key changes. Ramón Urías, scratched from yesterday’s game with a sore hamstring, is out of the lineup. His absence has led to a shift in the infield, with Emmanuel Rivera starting at third base and Jorge Mateo at second. In the outfield, Ramón Laureano will patrol left field, and Heston Kjerstad will be in right.

The full lineup features Cedric Mullins in center field, Adley Rutschman catching, Gunnar Henderson at shortstop, Ryan Mountcastle at first base, Ryan O’Hearn as the designated hitter, and the aforementioned Laureano, Kjerstad, Rivera, and Mateo. The Orioles are facing Royals left-hander Kris Bubic.

Meanwhile, in Triple-A Norfolk, pitching prospect Chayce McDermott continues his rehab assignment. He delivered a strong four-inning scoreless performance, allowing only one hit, while walking one and striking out three. McDermott, recovering from a right lat strain, threw 57 pitches in the outing. The Orioles have not yet announced any corresponding roster moves related to Urías’ injury.
