**HYDERABAD, May 4, 2025** – The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET)-Undergraduate 2025 concluded without major incident in Hyderabad on Sunday. While a few candidates arrived late and were denied entry, the overall examination process proceeded smoothly, according to officials.
Strict security measures were in place at examination centers across the city, with metal detectors used to screen candidates and separate enclosures for female candidates staffed by women. The four-set question paper, comprising Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology), contained 180 questions totaling 720 marks.
Student feedback indicated that Physics was considered the most challenging section, followed by Chemistry, while Biology was deemed relatively easier and largely textbook-based. District Collectors Anudeep Durishetty and Gowtham Potru conducted inspections of exam centers in Masab Tank and Kukatpally, respectively, ensuring the smooth functioning of the exam and verifying CCTV functionality. The only reported issues were a small number of late arrivals in Karimnagar and Secunderabad who were unable to take the exam.
