**TIRUCHI, May 4, 2025** – Four people from Kerala were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a van and a government bus in Tiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu, on Sunday. The accident occurred at Karuvepancheri in the morning.
The seven individuals were traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Velankanni in Nagapattinam district when their van collided with the oncoming bus. Four passengers – identified as R. Sajunath (27), R. Rajesh (34), R. Rahul (29), and R. Sajuth (37) – died at the scene. The three injured were hospitalized. Edaiyur police are investigating the cause of the accident.
