**Bengaluru, May 3, 2025** – A 31-year-old man with a criminal record, Santosh alias Karadi Santhu, was murdered in Ramanagara district on Saturday. According to police, Santosh was attacked by a group of four men near the Harohalli KSRTC depot. The assailants, who arrived in a car, rammed their vehicle into Santosh’s motorbike, causing him to fall. They then proceeded to hack him to death with weapons.
Passersby contacted authorities, who recovered Santosh’s body and initiated a murder investigation. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects and their vehicle. They suspect the murder stemmed from an old rivalry and believe the assailants traveled from Bengaluru to carry out the attack. Santosh, who had recently been released from prison, had relocated from Konanakunte in South Bengaluru to Siddapura prior to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
