**Hyderabad, May 3, 2025** – A 40-year-old man from Jharkhand died Friday after falling onto the train tracks at Secunderabad Railway Station. Pavan Kumar, a resident of Sonpurwa in Garhwa district, was attempting to board the Danapur Express when he lost his balance and fell into the gap between the platform and the tracks.
According to police, the incident occurred at platform number 8 near the foot overbridge. Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials recovered Kumar and rushed him to Gandhi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His body has been sent for post-mortem, and will be released to his family after medico-legal procedures are complete. An investigation into the incident is underway.
