All Sundays also remain closed.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced seven additional bank holidays for May, excluding weekends. These vary by state and include observances such as Maharashtra Din and May Day (May 1st), Panchayat Election (May 7th in Guwahati), Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday (May 9th in Kolkata), Buddha Purnima (May 12th in several states), Sikkim State Day (May 16th in Sikkim), Kazi Nazrul Islam’s birthday (May 26th in Tripura), and Maharana Pratap Jayanti (May 29th in Himachal Pradesh). Customers are advised to check with their local branch for a complete list of holidays applicable to their area.

Despite these holidays, online banking services will remain available throughout the month for transactions including fund transfers, bill payments, and account management.
