**Kolkata, [Date of Release]** – The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) today announced the results for the 2025 Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations. A total of 984,753 students appeared for the exams held from February 10th to 22nd, with a pass percentage of 86.56%. This represents a slight increase compared to last year’s 83.61% pass rate.

Adrit Sarkar topped the exams with an impressive 99.43%, scoring 696 out of 700. Anubhav Biswas and Soumya Pal followed closely behind, both achieving 99.14% (694 marks).

The results are available online at wbbse.wb.gov.in and on the IE Education portal. Students can access their results using their roll number and date of birth. A significantly higher number of female candidates (555,950) appeared for the exams compared to male candidates.

Students who failed one or more subjects can appear for supplementary examinations, with dates to be announced later. The option for re-evaluation of answer sheets is also available online. While the online mark sheet is provisional, students must collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools.
