**Kolkata, May 2, 2025** – The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) announced the results for the Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations today, revealing an overall pass percentage of 86.56%. Aditro Sarkar from Rajganj secured the top spot, achieving an impressive 99.43% (696 out of 700 marks).
Purba Medinipur district boasted the highest pass percentage among all districts at 96.46%. The second position was jointly held by Anubhab Biswas and Soumya Pal, each scoring 99.14%, while Ishani Chakraborty secured third place with 99%.
A total of 984,753 students appeared for the exams, with 555,950 being female candidates. The theory exams were held from February 10th to 22nd, while practical assessments concluded on April 2nd.
Results are available online from 9:45 AM on the official WBBSE website (wbbse.wb.gov.in) and on NDTV’s special results page. Students can access their scores using their roll number and date of birth. Schools will receive mark sheets from 10:00 AM onwards, with students able to collect their original mark sheets from their schools approximately 15 days later. Supplementary exams will be announced for students who failed one or more subjects. The online mark sheets are provisional.
