The game introduces two new Vault Hunters: Vex, a Siren wielding spectral energy and minions, and Rafa, an Exo-Soldier utilizing an experimental exo-suit. Each Vault Hunter boasts unique Action Skills, selectable from three signature abilities, enhanced by a new, advanced skill tree system. New movement abilities, such as gliding and dashing, are also included.

Players will explore the new planet Kairos, a world thrown into chaos after a rogue moon disrupts the Timekeeper’s oppressive rule. This tyrannical ruler has long controlled the planet’s inhabitants through cybernetic implants. Now, a rebellion is brewing, and the Vault Hunters find themselves in the midst of it.

Kairos offers vast, seamlessly connected environments, explorable with a personalized Digirunner vehicle. New gameplay mechanics include Silos, containing decommissioned Order tech that can be hijacked for resources and Vault Key Fragments.
