**CHENNAI, INDIA – April 30, 2025** – The Hindu newspaper announced the launch of several new columns today, expanding its coverage of global affairs, Indian regional news, entertainment, technology, science, and health.

The new additions include “The View From India,” offering a perspective on international events from an Indian standpoint; “Karnataka Today,” providing daily news highlights from the state of Karnataka; “First Day First Show,” reviewing films and streaming content; “Today’s Cache,” summarizing the top five technology stories; and “Science For All,” a weekly newsletter explaining scientific concepts in an accessible way.
