**Chatham, Illinois –** Four children and young adults, aged between four and 18, were killed and several others injured when a car plowed into the YNOT After School Camp in Chatham, Illinois, on Monday. The vehicle struck both those outside and inside the building before exiting through a west wall. Emergency responders transported multiple injured individuals to area hospitals, with at least one airlifted.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained no apparent injuries but was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash and are investigating whether it was intentional or accidental.
