**MIDDLETON, WI** – Thomas A. “Tom” Cottington, a lifelong Middleton resident, passed away on April 20th, 2025, at the age of 73. Cottington, a graduate of Middleton High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was known for his passion for gardening and art. He was a Master Gardener who generously contributed his talents to landscaping projects, including the grounds of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. He was also an active member of several plant societies.
Cottington is survived by his brother John and his wife Linda, niece Amy, nephew Jay, and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16th, 2025. A visitation will precede the service at 10 a.m.
