**Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala –** The Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) is launching four new initiatives aimed at improving access to justice and promoting conflict resolution within the state. The programs, Samayam, Samanwaya, Harmony Hub, and Athijeevanam, will be inaugurated on May 3rd by Kerala High Court judge Kauser Edappagath.

Samayam focuses on early intervention in disputes, referring cases from police to the DLSA for pre-litigation settlement. This aims to prevent escalation and ensure fairness. Samanwaya offers counseling services for reconciliation and integration among individuals and communities, addressing cases referred from various sources.

Harmony Hub provides a neutral space for resolving relationship issues through mediation and counseling, assisting couples with a range of concerns including child custody and financial matters. Finally, Athijeevanam provides free legal services to victims of mass disasters, coordinating government efforts to ensure they receive full benefits and support. These initiatives represent a significant step towards strengthening the state’s legal aid system and fostering peaceful conflict resolution.
