**NEW DELHI –** Over 42 lakh students are anxiously awaiting the results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 board exams, which concluded on April 4th. While the official date remains unannounced, based on previous years, the results are expected to be released around mid-May. Both Class 10 and 12 results are anticipated to be declared simultaneously.
In 2024, the results were announced on May 13th, and in 2023 on May 12th. The 2022 results were delayed to July 22nd due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Results will be accessible on the official CBSE websites (specific URLs not provided in source material) and on DigiLocker. NDTV Education will also host the results at ndtv.com/education/results.
Last year, 16,21,224 students appeared for Class 12, with an 87.98% pass rate (14,26,420 students passing). In Class 10, 22,38,827 students appeared, achieving a 93.60% pass rate (20,95,467 students passing). Trivandrum recorded the highest pass rate at 99.91%. Girls consistently outperformed boys, with a 91.52% pass rate in Class 12 compared to 85.12% for boys, and 94.75% versus 92.71% in Class 10. A minimum of 33% marks in each subject is required to pass; grace marks will be awarded to those who narrowly fail. Students can access digital mark sheets and certificates through the CBSE’s digital repository, Parinam Manjusha, at cbse.digitallocker.gov.in.
