**Kozhikode, Kerala, April 27, 2025** – Three men were arrested Sunday following a violent incident near Koduvally in Kozhikode district. The suspects allegedly attacked a tourist bus carrying wedding guests with firecrackers after a minor traffic accident.
Police sources report that the incident began when the bus collided with the suspects’ car. The men, led by a known local criminal named Shameer, responded by smashing the bus’s windshield and assaulting three police officers who intervened. The situation escalated when some of the thrown firecrackers landed near a petrol pump, creating a dangerous and tense situation.
Shameer, who has a history of criminal activity, and his accomplices are in custody. An investigation is underway based on a complaint filed by the bus driver. The incident highlights growing concerns about road rage and violence in the region.
