**Bengaluru, April 27, 2025** – The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) announced the launch of a new non-air-conditioned bus service connecting Lingadhiranahalli and Shivajinagar, starting May 1st. This new route aims to improve connectivity for commuters in the western parts of the city.
The bus will depart from Lingadhiranahalli at 9:00 a.m. daily, traveling via Sunkadakatte, Kamakshipalya, Magadi Road Toll Gate, and Vidhana Soudha before reaching Shivajinagar. The return journey from Shivajinagar will begin at 5:30 p.m., following the same route. The BMTC expects this service to benefit commuters, students, and residents in the area, providing a convenient travel option during peak hours.
