**Karimnagar, April 27, 2025:** Former Ramgundam MLA and Karimnagar District BRS President Korukanti Chander has appealed to Singareni Collieries workers to participate in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) silver jubilee celebrations in Elgattu, Warangal district, on Sunday.
Speaking to workers at the RG-1 area’s GDK-11 mine on Saturday, Chander highlighted the historical support Singareni workers provided to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao during the Telangana statehood movement. He recalled the crucial role of the workers’ strike in achieving statehood and lauded KCR’s efforts in reinstating hereditary jobs lost during that time through compassionate appointments.
Chander expects KCR to announce significant policies at the silver jubilee event. He assured the workers of continued support from the TBGKS and BRS party, promising assistance in times of need. He urged for massive participation to make the celebrations a grand success. Several TBGKS and BRS leaders attended the meeting.
