Chennai, India – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered a 5-wicket defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their IPL 2023 match at Chepauk Stadium, pushing their playoff aspirations to the brink. While mathematically still alive, CSK’s chances have plummeted to approximately 1%, requiring a near-miraculous run of victories in their remaining five matches, coupled with favorable results from other teams.

CSK, currently languishing at the 10th position in the points table, managed a total of 154 runs in their innings, with Devon Conway’s impressive 42 runs off 25 balls being a standout performance.
