**Srinagar, April 25, 2025** – Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, visited Srinagar today following the Pahalgam terror attack, condemning the violence and calling for national unity to defeat terrorism. Gandhi visited the injured at the Army’s 92 Base hospital and met with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
He stated that the attack’s aim was to divide the nation, emphasizing the need for all Indians to stand together. Gandhi highlighted the united opposition’s condemnation of the attack and its support for the government’s efforts. He also addressed concerns regarding the alleged harassment of Kashmiris in other parts of the country, urging solidarity against such actions. The Congress leader met with various delegations, including traders, students, and tourism representatives, during his visit.
