**Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, April 24, 2025** – Anantapur Collector Vinod Kumar V. was awarded for his exceptional work in implementing the Swachh Andhra Rural programme. The award was presented by Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan during the National Panchayat Raj Day-2025 celebrations in Mangalagiri on Thursday.

The award recognizes the Collector’s success in making all villages in Anantapur district Open Defecation Free (ODF) Plus model villages, as part of the Swachh Andhra programme. The initiative aimed to improve sanitation across all panchayats. The government announced the award on Wednesday.
