**Kozhikode, Kerala, April 22, 2025** – Kerala’s Minister for Tourism, P.A. Mohamed Riyas, recently inaugurated several tourism projects in Feroke, aimed at boosting the region’s appeal. The initiatives include a revitalized park and floating boat jetties near the Feroke old bridge, costing ₹1.17 crore and ₹35.50 lakh respectively. Road improvements, including paving with interlocking tiles and enhanced nighttime lighting, have also been implemented to improve accessibility and safety.

The highlight of the new developments is the “River World” adventure park, launched two weeks prior. This public-private partnership between the Tourism and Public Works departments boasts a unique river zipline, rope car, speed boating, children’s play area, a high-altitude restaurant, and a conference hall. The park, located on the banks of the Chaliyar River, also offers houseboat services along a 17-km stretch. Minister Riyas emphasized the importance of creating spaces for families and friends to relax and enjoy themselves. The park’s large parking area can accommodate over 100 cars.
