**Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu – April 21, 2025** – Three people died in a road accident on Monday when an SUV struck their motorcycle near East Ramapuram on the Villupuram-Nagapattinam National Highway. The victims, identified as P. Nehru (55) and two women, B. Kalpana (30) and P. Saranya (30), were traveling to work at a cashew orchard. Police report that the three were riding triple on the motorcycle when a speeding SUV hit them from behind, killing Kalpana and Saranya instantly. Nehru died while en route to the Cuddalore Government General Hospital. A police investigation is underway.
