**Mumbai, India** – Salman Khan’s latest action film, *Sikandar*, continues its decline at the box office, grossing a mere ₹6 lakh (approximately $73,000 USD) on its 21st day in theaters, according to Sacnilk. The film, which stars Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Smita Patil, has accumulated a total of ₹110.04 crore (approximately $13.4 million USD) since its release on March 30th.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, *Sikandar* follows the story of Sanjay Rajkot (Salman Khan), a seemingly peaceful ruler who faces challenges from a corrupt minister and his son. While the film has received some audience appreciation for its supporting cast performances, it has faced criticism for its plot.
In a recent interview, Salman Khan commented on the relatability of his character, stating that certain aspects, such as the large entourage he often carries onscreen, are common tropes in commercially successful films across various South Indian film industries.
However, critical reception has been less than favorable. NDTV’s Saibal Chatterjee gave the film a 2 out of 5-star rating, describing it as lacking in logic and coherence.
Despite its initial box office success, the film’s dwindling numbers indicate a significant drop in audience interest. Whether *Sikandar* can recover in the coming days remains to be seen.
