**New Delhi, April 19, 2025** – The murder of 17-year-old Kunal Singh in Delhi’s Seelampur area has sparked widespread protests and exposed alleged links to a jailed gangster’s network. Singh was fatally stabbed Thursday evening while buying milk, prompting immediate outrage and demonstrations from local residents and Hindu organizations.

Delhi Police have arrested Zikra, a woman known locally as a “lady don” and former bouncer for the wife of jailed gangster Hashim Baba. Three others, including Zikra’s cousins, have been detained for questioning. Police sources suggest the murder may be retaliatory, stemming from a previous assault on Zikra’s cousin. The arrested woman allegedly issued a warning to Kunal earlier that day.

Witnesses describe two individuals stabbing Singh while two others observed. Despite attempts to save him at a nearby clinic, he succumbed to his injuries. Zikra, previously arrested under the Arms Act for posting a firearm video on social media, reportedly aspired to lead her own gang after Baba’s wife was jailed on drug charges.

Posters suggesting Hindu residents are migrating have appeared, further escalating tensions.
