Sat Apr 19 14:50:24 UTC 2025: ## Kerala to Publish Class 1 Students’ Diaries
**Thiruvananthapuram, April 19, 2025** – A unique collection of diary entries from first-grade students in Kerala’s state schools is set to be published. Compiled and edited by General Education Minister V. Sivankutty, the book, titled *Kurunnezhuthukal* (Little Writings), will feature the students’ writings alongside teachers’ and parents’ reactions.
The book, released by the Vidyakiranam Mission, celebrates the success of early language learning initiatives in Kerala’s schools and encourages young children’s writing abilities. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will officially release *Kurunnezhuthukal* on April 23rd during the state-level school textbook distribution ceremony. The book will also include a message from the Chief Minister and an introduction by former Education Minister M.A. Baby.
