**Thiruvananthapuram, April 17, 2025** – Sector7 Games, a new entertainment center in Kazhakuttam, has opened the city’s first laser tag arena, offering a unique recreational experience for young adults and corporate team-building events. The 1500 sq ft arena features ramps, obstacles, and hideouts, providing an immersive battleground for players armed with infrared laser guns.
Co-owners Govind Ajayakumar and Ajesh Anil, former schoolmates, identified a gap in Thiruvananthapuram’s entertainment scene and launched Sector7 Games in March 2025. The arena offers four types of laser tag battles, including individual and team modes, with varying objectives and point systems. Sessions cost ₹349 per person for 20 minutes, including a 5-minute equipment familiarization period.
In addition to laser tag, Sector7 Games features a hyper grid game, a touch-sensitive floor game with evolving colored tiles, and virtual reality (VR) gaming options. The hyper grid costs ₹199 for a 15-minute session, while VR games are ₹99 for 10 minutes.
Ajayakumar aims to expand the business, hoping to open more centers in Thiruvananthapuram to provide more premium entertainment options for young adults and cater to the growing demand for corporate team-building activities and birthday celebrations.
