**Hyderabad, April 17, 2025** – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has welcomed the Supreme Court’s order to restore the forest land in Kancha Gachibowli. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy called on the Telangana government to cease its “aggressive stance,” stop spreading misinformation, and begin reforestation efforts. He claimed Prime Minister Modi echoed the court’s sentiments regarding indiscriminate tree felling during a recent public address in Haryana.

Reddy further criticized protests by Congress leaders against the Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, questioning their faith in the legal process. Separately, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar asserted that the Supreme Court ruling exposed the “lowest standards” of Congress governance, contrasting it with what he termed the Telangana government’s model of land and lake sales, institutional damage, and environmental collapse. He accused the ruling party of “public loot” rather than governance.
