**Bengaluru, April 14, 2025** – The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced a strict dress code and heightened security measures for the Common Entrance Test (CET) scheduled for April 15-17. Candidates are required to wear half-sleeve, preferably collarless attire. Men must wear simple pants with minimal pockets; kurtas, pyjamas, jeans, and shoes are prohibited. All electronic devices are banned.

Candidates must arrive at least 90 minutes before the exam begins for security checks, which will include facial recognition and QR code verification. The KEA Executive Director, H. District-level authorities will oversee the entire process.

Prasanna encouraged students, even those with low scores or failed first attempts at the PU exam, to participate in the CET, emphasizing its potential to improve rankings.
