**Mong Kok, Hong Kong –** Kuwait secured a dominant victory over Qatar in the Hong Kong T20I Quadrangular Series 2025 on Saturday, April 12th. Clinto Anto’s explosive 72 runs off 28 balls led Kuwait to a comfortable six-wicket win, chasing down Qatar’s 124 runs in just 10 overs.
Anudeep Chanthamara took three wickets for Kuwait, while Mohammed Shafeeq, Nimish Lathief, and Meet Bhavsar each claimed two. For Qatar, Mohammed Irshad impressed with 3 wickets in 2 overs. However, Shahzaib Jamil (34), Jassim Khan (20), and Mujeeb Ur Rehman (28) provided some resistance with quick cameos.
The match also saw Kuwait’s Bilal Tahir achieve a milestone, breaking the national record for most catches in T20Is with his 27th catch. He surpassed Yasin Patel’s previous record of 25 catches.
