**Bengaluru, April 12, 2025** – Peenya police have arrested a 19-year-old, Santosh Kumar, in connection with the murder of a construction labourer, Vikas, from Bihar. Vikas was abducted and killed on April 6th during a robbery attempt near Chikkagollarahalli. Police allege Kumar and a juvenile accomplice abducted Vikas, assaulted him with an iron rod and stabbed him, before dumping his body. The arrest followed an investigation utilizing CCTV footage. Authorities are currently searching for additional suspects involved in the crime.
