**Tiruchirappalli, April 12, 2025** – A street in Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli, has been renamed in honor of the late renowned Nadhaswaram player, Sheik Chinna Moulana, on the occasion of his birth centenary. Minister for Municipal Administration K.N. Nehru unveiled the new name board for Dr. Chinna Moulana Salai on Saturday. The street, previously known as Thangaiyan Street, is located in Ward 3 of Zone 1, where the musician resided. Mayor M. Anbazhagan, Collector M. Pradeep Kumar, Corporation Commissioner V. Saravanan, and other senior officials attended the ceremony.
