Sat Apr 12 13:56:34 UTC 2025: ## High Court Judge Appointed Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh
**New Delhi, April 12, 2025** – Justice Arun Palli has been appointed the new Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, the Union Law Ministry announced on Saturday. Justice Palli, previously a judge at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, succeeds Justice Tashi Rabstan, who retired on April 9th. His appointment follows a recommendation from the Supreme Court Collegium on April 4th.
In a separate announcement, the Ministry also revealed the transfer of Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, a judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, to the Kerala High Court.
