Sat Apr 12 07:24:51 UTC 2025: ## Gujarat Titans Lose All-Rounder Glenn Phillips to Groin Injury

**Ahmedabad, April 12, 2025** – Gujarat Titans all-rounder Glenn Phillips has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season due to a groin injury. The Kiwi player sustained the injury during the April 6th match against Sunrisers Hyderabad while fielding. Phillips, although not a regular in the playing XI, was substituting as a fielder when he chased a shot and overstretched his groin, forcing him to leave the field. He has since returned home.

This is the second player the Gujarat Titans have lost this season. Earlier, South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada left the team for personal reasons. The team announced Phillips’s injury and departure in a statement released Saturday.
