**Mangaluru, April 12, 2025** – Team Tricharm from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru, emerged victorious in the Mystery Theme category at HackToFuture, a 36-hour national-level hackathon held in Mangaluru. Over 2,000 aspiring innovators from 21 states participated in the third edition of the event, organized by St. Joseph Engineering College and sponsored by EGDK India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of EG A/S Denmark.
The hackathon challenged participants to solve real-world problems across four themes: Healthcare and Citizen Welfare, Industry and Trade, Construction and Workforce Management, and the Mystery Theme. Mentorship was provided by experts from both EGDK India and EG A/S Denmark, and judging was conducted by industry professionals. A total prize pool of ₹2.4 lakh was awarded.
Other winning teams included CodeCrew (Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology) for Healthcare and Citizen Welfare, Numeronauts (Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering) for Industry and Trade, and Integrated Innovators (Cambridge Institute of Technology) for Construction and Workforce Management. Special recognitions were also awarded for Best UI/UX Design and Best GitHub Repository Structure.
Denmark’s Consul General and Head of Trade and Innovation, Eske Bo Rosenberg, attended the valedictory function, praising the hackathon as a “shining example of how teamwork can drive impactful change.” The event was inaugurated by EG India CFO Peter Kayser.
