**Hyderabad, April 11, 2025** – The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced a new Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train tour covering major pilgrimage sites across North India. The tour, specifically targeting residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, will depart on April 23rd and run for nine nights and ten days, concluding on May 2nd.
The itinerary includes visits to prominent religious sites such as the Mansa Devi Temple, Har-Ki-Pauri, Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh, Anand Sahib Gurudwara, Naina Devi temple, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, and Mata Vaishno Devi temple. A visit to the Wagah Border is also planned, subject to time constraints.
The train will board and de-board passengers in Vijayawada and Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), and Nalgonda, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Manchiryal, and Sirpur Kaghaznagar (Telangana).
Fares vary depending on class: ₹18,150 for sleeper class (₹17,390 for children aged 5-11), ₹30,730 for 3AC (₹29,420 for children), and ₹40,685 for 2AC (₹39,110 for children). AC class passengers will enjoy hotel accommodations in AC rooms and AC road transport. The fare includes transportation, lodging, and all meals. Enhanced security measures include CCTV in all coaches, public announcements, travel insurance, and on-board IRCTC tour managers.
