Thu Apr 10 15:42:52 UTC 2025: ## YouTuber Arrested for Obscene Remarks Against Andhra Pradesh CM’s Wife
**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh –** Guntur district police arrested Chebrolu Kiran Kumar, a suspended TDP member and YouTuber, on Thursday for making obscene and derogatory remarks against Y.S. Bharathi, wife of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. The arrest, announced by Guntur SP Satish Kumar, came within 24 hours of a complaint filed by two Atmakuru residents.
Kumar, a 40-year-old resident of Koritapadu with a history of controversial videos and five prior criminal cases, was apprehended near Ibrahimpatnam while attempting to flee. Police used technical evidence to trace him. A new FIR was filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the IT Act.
SP Kumar issued a warning that strict action would be taken against those making vulgar or defamatory comments online, citing directives from the Chief Minister, Home Minister, and DGP. A separate incident saw YSRCP former MP Gorantla Madhav allegedly attempt to attack Kumar, an incident prevented by police intervention.
