**Tiruchi, April 10, 2025** – Two 17-year-old undergraduate students were killed in a road accident on Wednesday on the Dindigul-Tiruchi national highway near Manapparai. K. Inbaraj and P. Poovarasan, both first-year BCA students at Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi Government Arts and Science College in Karur district, were riding a motorcycle when it was struck by a lorry at the Andavar Koil junction. Both students sustained fatal head injuries and were pronounced dead at the Government Hospital, Manapparai. The lorry driver, A. Arockiya Andrews (29), has been arrested, and the Manapparai police have registered a case.
