**NEW DELHI –** Veteran Indian politician Suresh Prabhu has been appointed to the advisory board of Bloomberg New Economy, becoming the only Indian member among a distinguished group of global leaders. The announcement was made alongside the unveiling of the board’s co-chairs, former US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and former Italian Prime Minister and European Central Bank President Mario Draghi.
Prabhu, a six-time Member of Parliament with a long career in various Indian cabinets, brings extensive experience in multiple ministerial portfolios including Industry, Railways, and Civil Aviation. He also served as the Prime Minister’s Sherpa to the G7 and G20 summits. Currently, he is Chancellor of Rishihood University and a visiting professor at the London School of Economics.
