**NEW DELHI –** The Delhi court has received the trial records for the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, paving the way for the trial of Tahawwur Hussain Rana, the alleged mastermind. Rana, a Pakistani-origin Canadian businessman, is scheduled to arrive in India on Thursday via a special flight from the US following the US Supreme Court’s rejection of his extradition appeal. The records were transferred from a Mumbai court per a Delhi court order from January 28th, responding to a request by the National Investigation Agency. The transfer was necessary due to multiple 26/11-related cases in both Mumbai and Delhi. Rana, a close associate of David Coleman Headley, faces charges related to the attacks, which saw 10 Pakistani terrorists kill 166 people over nearly 60 hours.
