Tue Apr 08 19:52:43 UTC 2025: ## AAP Accuses BJP of Collusion in Delhi School Fee Hikes
**New Delhi, April 9, 2025** – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leveled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, claiming a link between the BJP and the head of a private school association, Bharat Arora, leading to exorbitant fee increases in Delhi schools.
AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that Arora, president of an association representing unaided private schools, actively campaigned for the BJP during the February elections. Bharadwaj described this as a clear conflict of interest, directly implicating the Chief Minister.
The BJP countered, asserting that AAP is merely attempting to create a negative perception following their electoral defeat. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva dismissed the allegations, stating that AAP’s claims are unfounded and that Delhi residents are not facing widespread issues such as power or water cuts or mass school fee hikes. He further accused AAP of using fake tweets to spread misinformation.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s Education Minister Ashish Sood announced plans to renovate dilapidated government schools after a surprise inspection revealed poor conditions in four schools in the Patparganj constituency.
