Tue Apr 08 03:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Samsung Rolls Out Android 15 One UI 7 Update for Galaxy S24 Series, Lagging Behind Competitors

**SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA –** Samsung Electronics has finally begun rolling out the highly anticipated Android 15-based One UI 7 update for its Galaxy S24 series smartphones. The update, featuring a redesigned user interface and enhanced AI capabilities, began its phased rollout on Monday. This marks the first major OS update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra models, which are promised seven years of software support.

The update is available for both Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 variants and is expected to reach all users within the next few weeks. While Samsung touts One UI 7 as one of the best Android skins available, the company’s release lags significantly behind competitors like OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, and iQOO, who launched their Android 15 updates back in December 2024.

The One UI 7 update follows a beta testing period for the Galaxy S24 series and will eventually be rolled out to other Galaxy devices, including older S, Z, A, M, and F series smartphones.
