
Tue Apr 08 06:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam Results Released: 74.55% Pass Rate in Urban Areas
**Bengaluru, April 8, 2025** – The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) today announced the results for the 2025 Karnataka 2nd PUC (Pre-University Course) examinations. A total of 7 lakh students appeared for the exams, with a varying pass percentage across urban and rural areas.
The overall pass percentage was not explicitly stated in the release, however, urban areas saw a 74.55% pass rate (375,188 students out of 503,900), while rural areas achieved a 69.33% pass rate (93,251 students out of 134,505). The results were initially announced at a press conference chaired by the Karnataka Minister of School Education and Literacy at 12:30 PM and subsequently made available online at 1:30 PM.
Students can access their results through the official websites: karresults.nic.in, kseab.karnataka.gov.in, pue.karnataka.gov.in, and kseeb.kar.nic.in. To view results, students need their roll number and will need to select their stream (science, commerce, or arts). Results are also accessible via SMS.
Students who failed the exam can apply for compartmental exams. Applications will be accepted based on the results sheet and MCA (presumably a specific application method). The application window is dependent on the official release schedule.
Between April 8th and 13th, students can request scanned copies of their answer scripts, with the download window opening from April 12th to 16th. Revaluation and retotalling requests can be submitted from April 12th to 17th. The fee for scanned copies is ₹530 per subject, and the revaluation fee is ₹1,670 per subject.
This year’s pass percentage is lower than last year’s 81.15% (552,690 out of 681,079 students). Last year’s results were announced on April 10th.
